The Botswana Accountancy Oversight Authority is mandated by the Financial Reporting Act (the Act) to monitor the professional conduct of Certified Auditors, and where necessary, enquire into any allegations of suspected professional misconduct or breach of the legal instruments by Certified Auditors and Audit Firms.
